By very popular demand we
returned to “Harry’s” place at Rivenhall Golf Club for our July
Sunday lunch. Despite a cloudy day five Area 33 Jaguars transported Eric & Linda; Dennis & Francis; Mike & Sue; Ron & Anita and Ian & Anne plus their friends to our lunch venue with reserved parking on “the lawn” courtesy of Harry. |
| In addition, Harry had
his LWB XJ6 on show to complete the ensemble. Lunch at Harry’s was, as always, a pleasant affair offering Sunday roasts or something at a little extra like Lamb Shank; all at very reasonable prices including plenty of vegetables and extra gravy for us “Essex guys”. |
| Sorry about the
picture quality, camera phones are never that brilliant and
adjusting for backlight was beyond me!; however, it confirms
the happy bunch about to savour their lunch.

| During lunch we
were also able to view the German Grand Prix and witness
Ferrari switch Felipe Massa, who had been leading the
Hockenheim race, and team mate Fernando Alonso, to allow
him first position on the podium! It never happened with Jaguar! See you next time? Regards Eric Hoile |
